📖 SYNOPSIS
"Hinomaru Sumo" follows Ushio Hinomaru, a new student who arrives at Oodachi High School with a burning ambition: to reach the pinnacle of professional sumo, Hinoshita Kaisan. He joins the school's struggling sumo club, a group that is far from competitive. The world of sumo, a divine ritual and combat sport, typically favors those who are large and heavy. However, Hinomaru, despite his smaller stature, is undeterred. He faces the challenge of competing in a sport that seems to contradict his physical build. The story chronicles Ushio's journey, alongside his teammates, as they strive to overcome obstacles and climb their way to the top of the sumo world, a high school sumo tale with no room for second chances.
