📖 SYNOPSIS
Gorgeous, popular, and an absolute nightmare of a human being — that's Fujiwara Megumi in a nutshell. She has a boyfriend, Matsumoto Masamune, but that doesn't stop her from stringing along every other guy who crosses her path — and they all end up worse for it. That's basically the setup for High Score, a short-form comedy TV series where the humor comes from how shamelessly selfish and chaotic one high school girl can be.
Each episode runs about three minutes, adapted from a 4-koma manga, so the jokes hit fast and move on before they overstay their welcome. The comedy leans on exaggerated character behavior — Megumi isn't just a little self-centered, she's a walking disaster for anyone unlucky enough to like her. The blue humor and casual violence give it a rougher edge than you might expect from a shoujo series, which is part of what makes it entertaining.
If you've watched Chitose Get You!! and enjoyed the quick-hit format with a chaotic lead, this scratches a similar itch but skews a bit older and meaner. Fans of Nijiiro Days who want the school romance dynamic but with way less sincerity and way more selfishness will find something to appreciate here too. It's only eight short episodes from Studio DLE, so the time commitment is basically nothing. You could finish the whole thing during a lunch break and still have time to eat.
