EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the intense street-level survival of episode 5, this midseason installment serves as a deliberate cooldown, letting Takashi and the group catch their breath before the back half of the series escalates the stakes considerably. It's the calm-before-the-storm chapter, deepening group bonds and individual characterization that pay off in later episodes. The temporary safety established here is short-lived, with episode 7 pushing the group back into immediate danger and accelerating toward the season's climax.
