📖 SYNOPSIS
The anime unfolds in Taoyuan, an ancient Chinese town inhabited solely by Taoist ascetics. The narrative centers on the contrasting lives of two key figures: Lao Shi, the elder and a dedicated researcher of magic and alchemy, and Zhi Huang, his pupil. Zhi Huang, however, is less interested in spiritual pursuits and more drawn to the physical world. His desires are further complicated by his affections for three beautiful sisters residing nearby. The series explores the clash between asceticism and indulgence, tradition and personal desires, all set against the backdrop of a mystical village steeped in Taoist practices. The dynamic between the master and pupil, and Zhi Huang's romantic pursuits, drive the story forward.
