EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 27's more intense focus on Izuna and her command over sacred beasts, this episode deliberately shifts the register toward something festive and low-stakes. It functions as a mid-season palate cleanser at the series' halfway point. The lighter tone here sets up a contrast with Episode 29, where the class's haunted house school festival project collides with genuinely dangerous spirits.
