EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the absurd traveling panties saga of Episode 4, Episode 5 pivots to world-building by pulling back the curtain on Mikako's influential family, adding new dimensions to a character who's been mostly a scheming comedic presence. Positioned roughly at the season's one-third mark, it bridges the early character introductions with the more adventurous tone ahead, directly setting up the lighter, action-oriented energy of Episode 6's 'Swimsuit Surf Brigade, Go!
