Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Kōyō Kotesashi doesn't play sports, but he's got magic hands — literally. Trained as a massage therapist by his parents, he enrolls at a high school famous for producing elite athletes, hoping to eventually become a sports doctor. To pay his way, he takes a live-in caretaker gig at a dormitory that just happens to house five female athletes from different sports: basketball, volleyball, swimming, table tennis, and soccer. His job? Help them reach peak performance through therapeutic massage. The catch? Well, you can probably guess where the comedy comes from. This is a 12-episode TV series from Studio Quad, based on a web manga, and it knows exactly what it is. The premise is basically "guy with legitimate skills ends up in compromising situations constantly," and the show leans into that without pretending otherwise. Each girl has her own sport and personality, so there's enough variety in the cast to keep things from getting stale. The sports angle actually gives it a bit more structure than your average ecchi harem setup — Kōyō's massage techniques tie directly into each athlete's training and competition arcs, which is a nice touch. If you liked the deadpan comedy of Seitokai Yakuindomo or the shameless sports-meets-fanservice energy of Keijo, this hits a similar sweet spot. Fans of To Love-Ru's harem dynamics will also find familiar ground here. It's lighthearted, self-aware, and doesn't ask you to take it seriously — just enjoy the ride.
