EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the premiere 'Snowflake Capital,' which established Chizuru's fateful encounter with the Shinsengumi, this second episode turns inward to develop the group dynamics and individual motivations that will drive the entire twelve-episode run. It plants the interpersonal conflicts and trust issues that become central to the series' emotional core. The stage is being set for 'Twilight Blossom' in episode three, where these internal tensions begin intersecting with the larger external threats facing the group.
