EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the premiere 'Role Play,' which established Tsukasa's inability to log out, 'Guardian' expands the cast's relationship to that central mystery and begins drawing factional lines between those who want to help Tsukasa and those who view him with suspicion. This is foundational world-building — episode two of twenty-six in a series that takes its time, laying groundwork for the mythology explored in the next episode, 'Folklore,' where the legends of 'The World' start surfacing as potential explanations.
