Coming directly after 'Bonds,' where Tabby's efforts to build connection and community stood in sharp contrast to Haseo's isolating single-mindedness, 'Trial' represents the logical, darker consequence of ignoring those warnings. At episode 23 of 26, the series is deep in its endgame setup, and this installment tightens the screws significantly. It leads directly into 'Confront,' where the mounting pressure of Haseo's actions is set to collide with the confrontation the entire series has been building toward.
