EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the brutal encounter with Hyper-Zoanoid Zerbubuth in the previous episode, 'The Third Shadow' deepens the conflict with Chronos and expands the scope of who — and what — is operating in the shadows. The introduction of Guyver III signals that Sho is no longer the only variable Chronos has to worry about, complicating the power dynamics heading into the next episode, 'Beyond the Desperate Battle,' where the stakes and the enemy roster grow more dangerous still.
