"Gokuu no Daibouken Pilot" presented a drastically different take on the classic character. Responding to complaints about Goku's portrayal as an overly enthusiastic student, the pilot reimagined him as a mischievous, modern boy. This version of Goku was designed to appeal to contemporary audiences. However, the pilot's attempt at modernizing the character was short-lived. The show's dialogue included language deemed inappropriate by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). This resulted in significant negative feedback and ultimately led to the pilot episode being pulled from the airwaves. The show's brief run was a result of its controversial content.
