EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode run, Episode 8 deepens the existential and philosophical threads that have been building since the series' opening stretch. Following Episode 7's more tangible encounters with labyrinths and cooking, this installment turns inward, using memory and moonlight as lenses for the show's central question: what makes life worth living when everything else is gone. It establishes emotional groundwork that the final arc will draw upon as Chito and Yuuri's journey approaches its destination.
