The anime follows Weed, a dog who discovers he is the son of Gin, the famed leader of Ohu. Gin is renowned for leading the dogs of Ohu to victory against the formidable bear Akakabuto. Inspired by this legacy, Weed sets out on a quest to find his father. His journey takes him through various landscapes, where he encounters a diverse cast of characters.
