EPISODE CONTEXT
As episode 100 of 100, this is the definitive series finale, following directly from episode 99's 'The City's Castle Tower! Yōkai Kame-hime' and bringing resolution to character arcs and conflicts built across the entire run. The confrontation with the Tengu King serves as the culminating threat that tests everything Kitarō and his companions have developed over the series. This episode exists solely to provide closure — there is nothing after it.
