Gegege no Kitarou (1968) follows Kitaro, the last surviving member of the Ghost Tribe, as he navigates the supernatural world, protecting humans from malicious youkai while maintaining balance between the two realms. With the help of his eccentric companions鈥攊ncluding his tiny but wise father, Medama-Oyaji, the cunning Nezumi Otoko, and the fierce Neko Musume鈥擪itaro takes on various supernatural threats.
