EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the brutal revelations and confrontations in 'Girl on the Battlefield,' this episode plunges deeper into the Homunculi conspiracy and the rot within Amestris's military structure. It marks a critical escalation point roughly a third of the way through the series, where the protagonists transition from uncovering threats to being trapped by them.
