EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the ominous warnings of episode 8, 'The Rising Wind' escalates the group's active search for answers about their friend Shun and the society concealing truths from them. Positioned roughly at the one-third mark of 25 episodes, this installment represents a critical turning point where passive suspicion gives way to dangerous pursuit of forbidden knowledge. It directly sets the stage for 'More Than Darkness,' where the consequences of that pursuit begin to materialize in devastating ways.
