EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at episode 10 of 75, this is the first major milestone of the series — the transition from Ippo's origin and training arc into actual competitive boxing, directly following his hard-won C Class License in episode 9. The debut match establishes the template for how Hajime no Ippo will handle its fight episodes going forward and sets the trajectory for increasingly difficult opponents and rivalries that will define the remaining sixty-five episodes.
