Farming Life in Another World
Oshimeter
Synopsis
After spending his entire life stuck in a hospital bed with a terminal illness, Hiraku Machio got about the worst deal you can get. When he dies, a sympathetic god offers him a do-over in another world — and all Hiraku wants is to farm. Not conquer a kingdom, not build a harem army, not defeat a demon lord. Just farm. He gets dropped into a remote forest with an 'Almighty Farming Tool' that can shapeshift into whatever he needs, and from there it's basically cozy settlement building from the ground up. He befriends a pair of wolves named Kuro and Yuki, plus a giant spider called Zabuton, and slowly turns empty wilderness into an actual community where different species just... live together peacefully. That's the whole vibe. This 12-episode TV series from Zero-G is the kind of show you put on when you want something warm and low-stakes after a rough day. There's no real villain, no dramatic tension — just a guy clearing land, planting crops, and making friends with creatures who'd be boss fights in any other isekai. If you liked the community-building side of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or the gentle pace of By the Grace of the Gods, this hits that same frequency. It's closer to a fantasy farming sim than a traditional adventure, and honestly that's the appeal. Sometimes you just want to watch someone grow vegetables in peace.
