EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off 'Fernando's Present,' which widened the lens on the overarching conflict and King Fernando's role within it, this episode pivots inward to focus on character bonds and personal development. 'The Bride Rapunzel' uses that breathing room to deepen Rapunzel's place in the story while advancing Hansel's arc on the antagonist side. It directly sets up 'Glass Slippers,' the next episode, which continues threading classic fairy tale motifs into the series' larger narrative tapestry.
