EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the more emotionally playful 'Souta and the Magician In Love,' this episode pivots sharply toward threat escalation and introduces adversaries who carry lasting implications for the rest of the season. At episode 12 of 39, the series is closing out its early act and beginning to establish the more complex enemy roster that will define the mid-season.
