Embracing Love

A mainstream movie audition brings two adult film actors together — and they end up performing an intimate scene as part of the casting process. That's the setup for Haru wo Daite Ita, a 2-episode OVA from 2005 that takes the Boys Love genre somewhere genuinely interesting: the murky, competitive world of the entertainment industry. Kyousuke Iwaki and Youji Katou are rivals first. Both are trying to escape their adult video careers and land something legitimate. Iwaki gets the lead role; Katou becomes his co-star.
