📖 SYNOPSIS
"Emblem Take 2" follows Akutsu Shouji, a member of the Kaeda Yakuza gang in 1979 Shinjuku. After a humiliating defeat at the hands of a university cheering squad, Shouji's life spirals downward. Ten years later, in 1989, his friend is ordered to kill him, and in his desperate attempt to escape, Shouji ends his own life. However, he awakens back in 1979, at the very moment of his initial downfall.
Armed with the memories and experiences of his previous, failed life, Shouji confronts the university students with newfound spirit and wisdom. Vowing to wear a gold emblem as a symbol of his rebirth, he sets out to change his destiny. The anime explores themes of second chances, the consequences of choices, and the potential to rewrite one's fate. It is set against the backdrop of 1979 Shinjuku, a time and place that will be the stage for Shouji's new life.
