EPISODE CONTEXT
By episode 234, the Buu Saga has moved past the World Tournament and Babidi's machinations to confront the Z Fighters with Majin Buu as a fully unleashed threat. The preceding episodes built toward this moment through Vegeta's sacrifice and the desperate attempts to prevent Buu's resurrection. This episode establishes the new baseline of danger that will drive the saga's remaining arcs, including the emergence of new transformations and alliances needed to counter an enemy unlike any before.
