EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at episode 13 of 291, this falls squarely within the early Saiyan Saga buildup, where Goku is still making his way along Snake Way to train under King Kai before the Saiyans arrive on Earth. As a filler episode, it pauses the main journey but keeps Goku active and in focus between the long stretches of Snake Way travel. The next episodes will push him back on course toward King Kai, where the real training — and the payoff for all this buildup — finally begins.
