Does It Count If You Lose Your Innocence to an Android? Special
Oshimeter
Synopsis
At 28, Akane Tsuda has her professional life together but is kind of a mess at home — messy apartment, too much drinking, the usual. One lonely, wine-fueled evening, she impulse-buys an advanced companion android named Nadeshiko. The next morning, sober and full of regret, she discovers she can't return her. So now she's living with a beautiful android she never meant to buy, trying to hide the whole situation from her coworkers while figuring out what "companionship" even means when one half of the equation isn't human. This special episode, bundled with the BD release, is a single-episode extension of the manga by Studio Nyan Pollution, and it leans into both the comedic awkwardness and the quieter emotional beats of Akane and Nadeshiko's unconventional relationship. The yuri angle gives it a warmth that feels genuine rather than played for shock. If you liked the way Chobits asked real questions about human-machine intimacy but wrapped them in sweetness, or if Yuri Kuma Arashi's blend of absurdity and sincere queer romance worked for you, this hits a similar nerve — just with more sci-fi grounding and less metaphor. There's a bit of Interspecies Reviewers energy in how openly it treats its erotica elements, though the emotional core here is more about loneliness than anything else. It's funny, a little sad, and surprisingly tender.
