Does It Count If You Lose Your Innocence to an Android?
📖 SYNOPSIS
Everyone at work assumes Akane Tsuda has her life figured out — sharp, capable, the go-to person in her company's planning department. What nobody sees is the apartment that looks like a disaster zone, the empty fridge, the wine bottles, and the fact that she's never been in a relationship. At 28, she's holding it together professionally while everything else quietly falls apart. Then one drunk night she impulse-orders a companion android named Nadeshiko, and by the time she sobers up, there's a gorgeous humanoid robot standing in her living room with zero concept of personal boundaries. Worse, Akane can't return her without flagging the purchase through her own employer — she works for the company that makes these things. So now she's stuck cohabiting with an android who's equal parts helpful and flirtatious, and the whole situation forces Akane to confront how isolated she's actually let herself become. The dynamic between them starts as pure comedy but gradually picks up real emotional weight as Akane begins opening up in ways she hasn't with another person, human or otherwise. If you liked the human-android intimacy of Chobits or the domestic chaos of Mahoromatic but wished either had a yuri angle, this is exactly that niche. It's only 8 episodes from studio Nyan Pollution, adapted from the manga, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. Fair warning though — those Erotica and Girls Love tags are earned, not decorative.
