Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?
Oshimeter
Synopsis
When Masato Oosuki gets transported into a fantasy MMORPG world, it would be pretty standard isekai fare except for one problem — his mom came with him. And she's absurdly overpowered. Mamako Oosuki wields two swords that deal multi-target hits, basically wiping out entire enemy groups before Masato can even swing his weapon. The whole thing is framed as a government program to improve parent-child relationships through gaming, which is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. This 12-episode TV series from J.C.Staff leans hard into the comedy side of things. The joke is consistent but effective: Masato wants to be the hero of his own adventure, and Mamako keeps stealing the spotlight while also embarrassing him in front of every party member they recruit. It's got ecchi elements baked in, so fair warning there, but the core dynamic between an overly affectionate mother and her mortified teenage son carries most of the humor. If you liked KonoSuba for its dysfunctional party energy and comedic takes on RPG tropes, this hits a similar wavelength, just with the added twist of parental involvement. There are also shades of Sword Art Online's game-world setting, though the tone here is way less serious. Think of it as an isekai where the real final boss is your mom's unconditional love and her refusal to let you do anything by yourself. It's a light, goofy watch that doesn't ask much from you.
