EPISODE CONTEXT
Arriving at episode seven of 103, this episode follows the fallout of Allen confronting the consequences of his choices in the previous episode and serves as the series' first significant pause to establish who Allen truly is beneath the surface. Rather than advancing the plot outward, it deepens the foundation inward. This backstory groundwork directly sets up 'The Black Order Annihilation Incident,' which raises the stakes considerably and demands a protagonist whose motivations the audience already understands.
