EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the shock of 'Attack,' which first revealed Suman Dark's monstrous transformation, 'Fallen One' forces Allen and Lenalee to reckon with what that transformation truly means — practically and morally. Sitting at the series' midpoint (episode 53 of 103), this episode marks a tonal inflection point where the stakes of being an Exorcist become uncomfortably personal. It feeds directly into 'The Beginning of the Night's End,' which will carry forward the consequences set in motion here.
