EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the three-quarter mark of the season, Episode 19 follows the shapeshifter encounter in Episode 18 and uses that destabilized trust to introduce Izutsumi while interrogating Marcille's deeper anxieties. It's a transitional episode that prioritizes character groundwork over forward plot momentum, setting the emotional and interpersonal stakes before the party faces new physical threats in Episode 20's 'Ice Golem / Barometz.'
