EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 1 established the premise—an alien mothership looming over Tokyo and the high schoolers living beneath it—while this second episode commits fully to building out Kadode and Ouran's world on a personal level. Sitting early in a 17-episode run, it's laying essential character groundwork that the series will draw on as the sci-fi elements inevitably escalate.
