EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the emotional gut-punch of episode 6, where Kouko's inability to perceive Fuko raised the stakes significantly, episode 7 deepens the crisis surrounding Fuko's condition and her sister's wedding. Positioned roughly a third of the way through the 23-episode season, this installment escalates the tension within the Fuko arc while setting the stage for 'The Wind That Vanishes Into Dusk' in episode 8, where the challenges facing the group intensify further.
