Chibi Godzilla Raids Again Season 3
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Take every iconic Godzilla monster you know — Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, Rodan — now shrink them down into adorable little chibi versions and drop them on Monster Island with nothing to do but hang out and get into silly trouble. That's Chibi Godzilla no Gyakushuu, now in its third season. Chibi Godzilla is basically a sweet, slightly clueless kid who just wants to explore the island with his friends, including Chibi Mechagodzilla, who showed up as the new kid and is still figuring out where he fits in. The group dynamic is where this show lives — Chibi Ghidorah's chaotic energy bouncing off Chibi Mothra's calm, Chibi Rodan being Chibi Rodan. Each episode is short, so you can knock out a bunch in one sitting without committing to anything heavy. The humor works on a level where kids get the physical comedy and adults catch the references to classic kaiju lore baked into the writing. Studio Pie in the sky keeps the animation clean and expressive, leaning hard into the charm of these tiny monsters just vibing on their island. If you grew up watching stuff like Kaiju Booska or enjoyed the playful monster energy of All Monsters Attack, this hits a similar nostalgic sweet spot but with a modern chibi aesthetic. It's comfort food anime — low stakes, good vibes, and surprisingly endearing characters you didn't expect to care about.
