EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off episode two, where Tomoyo joined Sakura's inner circle and established the support system she'll rely on throughout the series, this third outing raises the difficulty by introducing a more formidable Clow Card — signaling that the challenges won't stay simple for long. It's still very much foundation-building within the first stretch of 70 episodes, teaching Sakura (and the audience) what it means to balance normal life with Cardcaptor duties, a tension that defines the entire series going forward.
