Rin, Chinatsu, Yuuka, Wakamo, Hasumi, and Suzumi were introduced at first.
They are good at slow character introduction. Serika not trusting Sensei makes the most sense.
They barely know him personally at all.
9/10 for this rising action.
In the sprawling metropolis of Kivotos, a city made entirely of schools, every student carries a gun like it's just another school supply. That's the setting of Blue Archive the Animation, a 12-episode TV series adapted from the popular mobile game. The General Student Council runs everything here, but when their president vanishes without a trace, the whole city starts sliding into chaos. Her last move before disappearing? Recruiting an outsider teacher known as Sensei to help keep things from falling apart. Sensei gets paired with the Foreclosure Task Force — five students from Abydos High School, including the laid-back veteran Hoshino and the straightforward Shiroko, who are just trying to keep their school from being shut down for debt. Their first order of business is dealing with the Helmet Gang stirring up trouble across the city, but it quickly becomes clear there's something bigger going on behind the scenes. The vibe here is youthful and surprisingly warm despite all the gunfire. Think school club energy mixed with tactical shootouts — the girls bicker, strategize, and genuinely care about each other while bullets fly. If you liked the academy city worldbuilding of A Certain Scientific Railgun or the teacher-student dynamic from Assassination Classroom, this hits some of the same notes. It's not reinventing the wheel, but the character dynamics and the unique setting where homework and firefights coexist make it a solid watch for fans of action-driven school anime.

The hook is executed very well, evoking cinematic feelings. The introduction of each character is also able to show their character, specifically Shiroko. Excellent episode
