EPISODE CONTEXT
Continuing the anime-original New Captain Shūsuke Amagai arc, this episode follows directly from Episode 172's escalation of tensions within the Kasumioji Clan. Episode 173 deepens the internal power struggles and begins exposing the scale of the threat hidden within the noble house. It serves as critical connective tissue, setting up the larger confrontations and reveals that will drive the arc's remaining episodes forward.
