EPISODE CONTEXT
Following Rock's forced induction into the Lagoon Company in episode one, 'Mangrove Heaven' is where his transition from reluctant passenger to functional crew member begins to take shape. This episode is a critical early test of whether he can survive — and matter — in a world built on violence and improvisation. It feeds directly into the next episode, 'Ring-Ding Ship Chase,' as the crew's trajectory toward Roanapur and deeper criminal entanglements continues to take form.
