EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off episode 1's establishment of Train as Chronos' most lethal asset, 'The Hesitant Cat' deliberately deconstructs that image by introducing the two characters — Saya and Sven — who will fundamentally reshape his trajectory across the full 23-episode run. This is early-season foundation work, transitioning from setup to the ideological conflicts that will drive Train's eventual break from his assassin identity. It plants the seeds for future alliances and the central tension between duty and freedom that defines the series.
