EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly after the intense action of Episode 12, 'The Fighting Cat,' this midseason installment intentionally pivots to softer ground, giving the cast and audience a breather before the narrative escalates again. The focus on personal relationships and individual choices plants seeds for character motivations that will become increasingly relevant in the back half of the series. With ten episodes still ahead, this is the calm before Black Cat begins tightening its threads toward the endgame.
