Bad Girl
Oshimeter
Synopsis
All her life, Yuu Yuutani has been a model student — follows every rule, helps around the house, never causes trouble. The problem? Nobody notices her, least of all Atori Mizutori, the cool third-year who chairs the discipline committee at Fujigasaki Private High School. Yuu admires Atori from a distance, and one day she has a revelation: the person most likely to get Atori's attention is someone Atori has to deal with. So Yuu decides to become a delinquent. She dyes streaks of her hair bright red, clips fake piercings onto her ears, and tries her best to look like trouble. The catch is she's still fundamentally a good girl who doesn't know the first thing about being bad, which means her attempts at rebellion are hilariously half-baked. This 12-episode TV series from Studio Bridge, adapted from a 4-koma manga, leans into that gap between intention and execution for most of its comedy. The dynamic between earnest Yuu and the oblivious Atori carries the show, and the CGDCT energy keeps everything warm without getting saccharine. If you liked the comedic desperation of The Demon Girl Next Door or the oddball school life vibes of Anne Happy, this one fits right in that lane. It's a lighthearted comedy about wanting to be seen by someone, even if that means pretending to be someone you're not.
