In this episode, we have a small mystery to solve. Ghosts, thieves, or something much worse? As always, the resolution this time is heartwarming, though equally unsettling. The relationship of our OBVIOUS final couple progresses organically, but since we're only on episode 4, we have to resort to misunderstandings to create conflict (Not a big fan of this). We also learn more about the lodge where they're staying. A multifaceted and entertaining episode, definitely.

Quick Takes
View all 39 takesIn this episode, the story's domestic, homey tone finally blends with the space and thriller elements. I've never been a fan of the "protagonist's love interest has a suitor who's superior to the protagonist in every way, but she won't end up with him because being authentic is what matters" trope, but since this anime draws heavily on its inspiration from old rom-coms, it doesn't work too badly. It serves quite well as comedy.
This episode could be described as having no major surprises beyond an encounter with a potential "enemy(?)." However, it's not a bad episode; it's quite cozy and introduces a few new characters. Not every anime episode needs a grand climax or ending to be good. In this case, I think the episode's low risk creates a rather pleasant warmth. The interactions between Mira and Miyasaka feel organic and sweet.
