馃摉 SYNOPSIS
Set in 2046 on Mars, "Armitage III" follows Detective Ross Sylibus, newly transferred to the red planet. His arrival coincides with the murder of a country singer aboard his flight. The victim is revealed to be a "Third," a robot indistinguishable from a human. Sylibus is assigned to the case and partnered with Armitage, a beautiful but hard-edged female cop. As they investigate the singer's death and other similar murders, they begin to unravel a complex conspiracy. The Martian government is implicated, and Sylibus and Armitage find themselves in grave danger, facing threats that could cost them their lives. The story explores themes of artificial life, prejudice, and the blurred lines between human and machine.
