📖 SYNOPSIS

The anime is set in a world where the deceased manifest as books, their memories and experiences preserved within. These books are stored in the Bantorra Library, a repository of human history accessible to anyone who reads them. The library is maintained by the Armed Librarians, individuals gifted with psychic powers. Their primary duty is to safeguard the library and its contents. They face a constant threat from the Sindeki Kyoudan, a religious society with opposing goals. The series explores themes of knowledge, memory, and the conflict between those who seek to preserve information and those who seek to control it. The Armed Librarians must use their abilities to protect the library and the world from the Kyoudan's ambitions.
