The dynamic between them carries this 12-episode TV series: Aria is aggressive and demanding, Kinji is reluctant and sarcastic, and the tension between them fuels both the comedy and the surprisingly fun action sequences. J.C.Staff handles the animation, and the mix of gunplay and swordwork keeps the fights from feeling repetitive. The tone is comedic and youthful with a solid romantic throughline — it never takes itself too seriously, which works in its favor.
