EPISODE CONTEXT
After the first two episodes established the protagonist's routine and introduced Rirui alongside her capabilities, Episode 3 pivots to expanding the social fabric of the series by bringing in Anyango and developing Rirui's relationships outside the main adventurer dynamic. Positioned early at the quarter mark of a 12-episode run, this episode is clearly laying foundational groundwork — building out the supporting cast and interpersonal bonds that will likely be tested once the season's central conflicts emerge in the back half.
