EPISODE CONTEXT
This is the middle chapter in a three-episode series that reimagines classic fairy tales through the Mario universe. It follows 'Super Mario Momotarō,' which cast Mario in the Peach Boy legend, and directly precedes 'Super Mario Shirayuki-hime,' a Snow White adaptation spotlighting Princess Peach.
