EPISODE CONTEXT
Three episodes in, the series is still firmly in character-establishment mode, building the rhythm of daily temple life and the group dynamic before introducing heavier supernatural plots. This follows Episode 2's more adventure-driven outing and pulls things back to a grounded, slice-of-life register. The minor mystery introduced here continues the show's pattern of using small-scale conflicts to deepen Ikkou's fraught relationships with the priestesses-in-training — groundwork that later episodes will rely on.
