📖 SYNOPSIS

The awakening of ghostly powers brings about an unexpected and intense conflict between Alois and the five lingering spirits that have haunted Agate’s house. These ghosts, however, are not malevolent; they were once Agate’s friends in life, and their bonds to him are strong even in death. Their shared history complicates things when a tense negotiation is held in Agate’s family graveyard. Alois, determined to help Agate find peace, argues that the ghosts should be sent to Hell Valley for reincarnation, while the spirits, bound by their deep attachment to their former friend, wish to uncover the cause of Agate’s torment before they can move on. As the discussion progresses, it becomes clear that the ghosts’ desire to help Agate outweighs their need for reincarnation. In an effort to spare Agate from further emotional pain, the ghosts decide that they must leave, but not without sharing their most precious memories with Alois. These memories contain vital clues that may help Alois understand the mysterious suffering Agate has endured. Among the memories, one stands out—a woman named A Zhu, whose presence seems to trigger a deep emotional response in a child named Lv. As Alois witnesses these moments, a wave of weakness and urgency floods over him. It’s clear now that the answers to Agate’s suffering lie within the shared past of these ghosts—and Alois must act quickly before time runs out.
